Tokify 0.7.1 — account menu fix
- Fixed the account menu closing before an item could be selected.
Tokify 0.7.0 — install the command line from Settings
- Install the tokify command directly from Settings, using the app's own binary.
- Added Quit to the account menu.
- Keep the current page when the window is resized.
- Release builds now report their version for update checks and the CLI.
Tokify 0.6.0 — menu bar mode
- A new tray menu shows the running activity and today's total, with controls to stop, resume, and restart recent work.
- Menu bar mode opens Tokify in a compact popover and hides the Dock icon.
- Improved compact layouts and the alignment of summary charts.
- Fixed bold formatting in to-dos, Tab indentation, and opening links in notes.
Tokify 0.5.0 — to-dos, rich notes, and undo
- Notes are now rich text, both on activities and in the sketchpad. Press Cmd+P to file a note under a project section.
- Start an activity from a to-do. When it stops, Tokify asks whether to tick the to-do off, with an option to always do so (also in Settings).
- Multi-line to-dos: the first line becomes the activity, the rest become its notes.
- Undo and redo any change to your activities.
- A new scriptable tokify CLI works on the same database as the app: start, stop, add, edit, list, and a watch command for status bars. Build it from source with make cli-install.
- Safer handling of deleted entries during sync.
Tokify 0.4.0 — AI agents and a redesigned tracker
- Connect an AI agent over MCP. Agents like Claude Code can list, add, edit, and delete entries, and follow the same overlap rules as the app. Setup is under Settings → AI agents.
- Redesigned the Now screen: the running timer, starter, daily goal, and recent work.
- Added a notes sketchpad just to the left of the timer.
- Activity history now lives in a local SQLite database. Your existing ~/.tock.txt log is imported on first launch and kept as a backup.
- Added profile pictures for accounts, shown to teammates on shared activity and team rosters.
- Sign-in now picks up where an unverified sign-up left off.
- Removing entries from the log is smoother.
- Fixed deleted entries occasionally reappearing after a sync.
- Removed the bundled tock CLI and the Microsoft Teams status integration.
